ASUP strike: We are making progress in discussion with FG- Asumogba

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), on Wednesday said that it was making progress in discussions with the Federal Government  over  its ongoing indefinite strike.Mr Chibuzor Asumogba, ASUP President, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in a telephone interview in Lagos that when to suspend the strike would, however, depend on the final outcome of the talks.

“Our members are holding forth; we are making progress with our discussion with the Federal Government and the talks still continue”.

  1. i bliv d reason for dis is bcoz federal govt do not train dia kinds in nigeria not to talk of dem going to polytechnic,we dat er here came out in mass to vote most of u to power i wonder wile dis is hapening to us,even d list wich is traditional rulers train dia kinds outside.i see it as a delay not pronouncing a reputable words upto dis tym,u people shud rehabilitate and reconstruct d polytechnic system before d nigerians hv ur regime as neva do well.
