Police Rescue Lawmaker’s Wife From Kidnapper’s Den

The Ebonyi State Police Command yesterday rescued the wife of a member of the State House of Assembly representing Ishielu North constituency, Ikechukwu Ogbu, who was kidnapped by a six-man gang. The police stated that during the encounter with the kidnappers to secure the release of the victim,  Winifred Ogbu, one of the suspects identified as Onyeka, was shot dead while others escaped.
